At the heart of the C.H.I.P.S. Program is the idea that Riverside’s strong community can play an active role in shaping the future by helping exceptional students see their potential and guiding them toward paths of growth and success. By passing along a poker chip, current community members “nominate” or endorse a prospective student who they believe embodies the spirit of Riverside --- students who are not only ready for a challenge but are motivated to make the most of it.

 

This simple yet powerful act of passing a chip becomes a symbol of both mentorship and opportunity, creating a network of inspiration and encouragement. The C.H.I.P.S. Program empowers Riverside families and community members to actively contribute to the growth of the next generation of students, supporting their transition into an environment that challenges them to thrive.

 

Through the C.H.I.P.S. Program, students are encouraged to consider their potential, step up to new opportunities, and engage with a brotherhood and a community committed to their success.

 

Tuition discounts are available under this program for both the referring and referred families. Other benefits are available to stakeholders who would not benefit from a tuition discount.
