Riverside Prep's beautiful 206-acre campus is nestled on Lake Sidney Lanier in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in northeast Georgia one hour north of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Enrollment currently averages 350 with cadets from 12 different countries and 30 U.S. states. Ninety-six percent are boarding, four percent are day cadets. International enrollment is 18% of the Corps.
Over $4.2 million in merit-based scholarships was awarded to the class of 2020. Small classes, diverse offerings, and engaging curricula are made for the way boys learn. Weekly grades, access to teachers outside of class, and mandatory study periods are part of the program.
Cadets in grades 9-12 participate in JROTC learning core values such as citizenship and leadership theory. Teams include drill team, academic bowl, five-time national champion Raider team, and rifle team.
We offer band, theatre, and art for cadets at any ability level. Our flexible programs allow cadets to participate in athletics, club sports, and the arts.
A collaboration between the college counselor and JROTC, SAPP guides qualified cadets through the admissions process for the federal service academies. In 2017 100% of SAPP cadets received nominations.
Currently nine Riverside alumni attend a service academy.
Riverside aims to keep tuition reasonable and commensurate with our peers. We offer need-based financial aid to domestic and international families. Fifty-seven percent of families receive financial aid; $3.7 million in aid was awarded in 2020-21.
