Winter Weather Announcement from the President

Parents, Grandparents, Guardians, and Students,

 

Riverside will operate with a delayed opening and in-person classes on Tuesday, January 27, with Employees and Day Cadets reporting at 9:30 a.m. if they are able to do so. The main roads in Gainesville are much improved today, but conditions in your area may be different.

 

Please exercise your best judgment in determining when your cadet should return to school. Any cadet who cannot safely return to school before 0930 tomorrow will be granted an excused absence for Tuesday and allowed to make up any missed assignments. With that said, please communicate with your TAC Officer if your cadet will be absent (or late) on Tuesday.

 

The uniform for cadets on Tuesday will be the Class B uniform. See below for the modified daily schedule:

 

Reveille:  0830 - 0915

Mess I:  0915- 0950

Day cadets report:  0930

1st:  0955-1025

2nd:  1030-1100

3rd:  1105 - 1135

4th:  1140-1210

Mess II:  1210 – 1305 (no PIR)

5th:  1305 - 1335

6th:  1340-1410

7th^h:  1415-1445

OT:  1450-1530

Day Cadets may depart:  1530

Change into PTs:  1530-1555

GSA/Athletics:  1600-1800

Mess III:  1830 -1900

Study Hours:  1930-2100

Team sports games and activities previously scheduled for Tuesday are re-confirmed.
