RP: Parents Day
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to welcome you back to campus for Parents’ Day 2026 on Friday, February 13. This special Riverside tradition is a time to celebrate your cadet’s accomplishments, connect as a community, and enjoy meaningful time together on campus.
The weekend will begin with an optional Parent Meet-Up in downtown Gainesville on Thursday evening, followed by a full day of on-campus events on Friday.
Parents’ Day Highlights Include:
- President’s Breakfast Gathering at Mitchell Quarters
- Musical Presentation & Academic Awards Ceremony
- Midday Parent Activities (Valentine’s Chocolate Making or College Planning Presentations)
- Corps of Cadets Parade
- Cadet Photo Op & Gratitude Station
- Cadet Sign-Outs beginning at 2:00 PM
- Optional Parent-Teacher / Counselor / TAC Conferences in the afternoon
Important Registration & Lunch Information
- Cadets do not need to be registered to attend Parents’ Day events.
- Registration is only required if you would like to pre-order an optional Chick-fil-A lunch.
- All cadets remaining on campus will eat lunch at 2:00 pm.
- If you would like to eat lunch with your cadet, you may pre-order an additional Chick-fil-A boxed lunch for your son.
- Cadets who do not have a lunch pre-ordered will eat their regularly scheduled meal in the barracks.
The deadline to register and pre-order lunch is Thursday, February 5, 2026.
