Riverside Prep Wrestlers Advance to GIAA Sectionals

The Riverside Prep Wrestling team traveled to Piedmont Academy in Monticello, GA, this past weekend to compete in their region tournament. Riverside Prep remained neck-and-neck with Piedmont Academy for first place. Riverside finished taking second place by a narrow margin of 8 ½ points. The wrestlers exhibited stamina and strength, with thirteen of our fourteen wrestlers advancing to Individual Sectionals on Friday, February 3rd. The top placers on Friday will advance to the State Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, February 4th.  The location for both events is Americus, Georgia.
