Calling all Survivors and Innovators. You belong at Summer Adventure Camp.
Summer Adventure Camp is a two-week overnight camp from July 16 through July 29 designed for adventurous young men, grades 6-12 (as of fall 2023). Our camp offers two tracks: Survivor and Innovator, both of which will include adventure, brotherhood, and fun -- the Riverside way -- incorporating leadership and structure.
Survivor Track
Campers in the Survivor Track will experience high adventure, including outdoor camping, survival training, orienteering, rope bridge and obstacle training, a visit to the U.S. Army Ranger School, and leadership training.
Innovator Track
Campers in the Innovator Track will experience hands-on photography, video editing, creative writing, essay writing, and forensic training, as well as learn tips for college prep.
All Campers
While each track includes unique activities, several activities and excursions will bring all campers together, including:
Laser tag, whitewater rafting, and tubing
A Law and Order event
Team sports sampler including soccer, baseball, wrestling, and football
A visit to the University of North Georgia and the town of Dahlonega
Leadership and problem-solving activities
Who Should Attend?
While all sixth- through twelfth-grade males are welcome to apply for Summer Adventure Camp, we highly recommend prospective students attend as well. If you are considering sending your son to Riverside Prep, there's no better way to get a feel for the culture here. After two weeks of camp, your son will better understand the benefits of Riverside -- the mentorship, brotherhood, and academic achievement at the core of who we are and all we aspire to be.
Cost
The cost for the 14-day overnight Summer Adventure Camp is the same for Survivor and Innovator Tracks at $2,180 for domestic and $2,590 for international campers.
