Last Day of Classes

The last day of the 4th quarter is Monday, May 15th. Underclassmen who have exempted all exams may begin to depart at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13th, however, shuttle service to the Atlanta Airport will not begin until Tuesday, May 16th, at 8:00 a.m. Please note that, while underclassmen may depart as soon as they have completed all exams, no cadet is required to depart before the campus officially closes at 1 pm on May 18th. Student Affairs is planning activities for those cadets who remain on campus after the completion of their last exam.

Cadets must have a 3rd and 4th quarter grade for the course he wants to be exempt from taking. One quarter of honors work and another quarter of non-honors work is considered a different course. Averages will be calculated using the grade book grades. For honors or AP courses, there will be no grade increase (or "bump").  Dual Enrollment course exams are controlled by the university teaching the course and are not eligible for this exemption policy. Cadets may elect to take an exam even if they are eligible to exempt the exam. If the exam is taken, the grade must be included the course grade calculation. Exam exemptions will be determined on May 11 for cadets in grades 6-11. Cadets who are eligible to exempt all exams must remain on campus until May 13 at 4:00 p.m. A cadet who departs campus prior to this time will forfeit the exam exemptions and will receive a grade of "0" for the missed exams with no opportunity to make the exams up at a later time. No exceptions will be made. Cadets are eligible to leave campus once they have completed all required exams. Please find the exam schedule below:
